The School on Plasma venue will be the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica campus located in San Carlos, Costa Rica.

How to reach the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica (San Carlos)

Following is a description of the easiest way to reach the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica in San Carlos.

TRANSPOR

The public transportation system in Costa Rica allows visitors to access most of the country. The Juan Santamaría International Airport is no exception; there is a bus stop to several destinations less than a block away from the terminal exit.

In order to get to San Carlos from the Juan Santamaría International Airport, you must take the bus to Ciudad Quesada. Upon arrival at Ciudad Quesada, you have to take another bus to get to Florencia in San Carlos, which takes about 15 minutes. Finally take a taxi, for another 15 minutes to arrive to the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica in Santa Clara, San Carlos.

The taxi service at the airport is provided by “TAXIS UNIDOS AEROPUERTO JUAN SANTAMARÍA” and you can make your reservation on this page http://www.taxiaeropuerto.com

Otherwise, participants of the School on Plasmas will have transportation available on January 19, 2014 departing from Juan Santamaría International Airport. The buses will come out in three shifts, morning, afternoon and evening on a schedule that we will be announced promptly.
